Hi brothers, Can anyone give me some clear ideas that which surface finishing is the best for PCBs used for LED TV motherboard production? Some says that OSP is good but it is not good for double sided board. So I am a bit confused in between HASL,O

Dave, 'Free Issue' here in the UK means material (be it PCB's or anything else) supplied by our customer from their stock and not charged to us. That is why we sometimes cannot control the design parameters. Many thanks for the suggestions. We alre

Hi mate, checked with one of our egg-brains in the factory (freakin' workaholic still around at this time of night), he tells me that Ag-based PCB finishings share rather similar reflow temperatures for normal Sn/Pb applications. this means (if he i

Boomerang, You said you are new to this so, First question. Are the components placed correctly with no offset pre-reflow? If the answer is yes then it's happening in the oven. Most likely cause is pcb design. If the answer is no then you have a pla

Hi, We have recently moved to flash gold as well, as we had solderability issues with emerson gold, and this was supposed to be a solution. However I did not know flash gold would be thicker, and could have other issues. Is flash gold a stable boar

If your peak temps in profiling the Sn/Pb solderpaste are 210C-215C, then no, you will not "weld" to the SN100C finish. SN100C is liquidus at 227C, too hot for most Sn/Pb solderpastes.

We received bare PCB's that were supposed to have been finished with immersion silver because of BGA locations. The boards were finished in ENIG. We are concerned over any reliabilty problems that might occur as a result of using ENIG at BGA locati
