We are trying to narrow down a search for a benchtop AOI system for PCB rework amongst other items. Many times we will be working with a "golden" board and comparing this against reworked product. Any suggestions on which models to look into? Than

My topaz X does the same thing. Hope someone can explain this. I have to toggle the button every single time after the first board.

Thanks Rob, It looks like my customer wouldn't let me to change the material. However, this potting material still sticks to the non sticking fixture that I have. Can anyone give me a non sticking material that I can make these fixtures out of?

Hi Prem, We used to place millions of Nickel battery tabs using Cobar paste. We found it particularly aggressive. Just contact your local Cobar distributor and ask them for samples of their most aggressive fluxed paste. Kind regards, Rob.

I think silicone mask is ok, This is so that after soldering, you can use these holes to fit other components later. This peelable layer is needed, unless you want to solder each component manually--From ALLPCB

Robl, I like this underfilm. Do you think you should place it in the middle of the part? I am curious if they provided some advice to you as how to use it.

Hi Evtimov, For BGA's you place 4 on each side right outside the edge balls and it pulls the case down and a bit is pulled between the balls on reflow. Not tried gluing a crystal (they only gave me a strip to play with)

Thank you for responding, we replaced those parts and it happens in step mode too, it happens as soon as it reaches the pcb before the cut and clinch process.
