Hi Ktron, I'm still waiting for my supplier to get back to me on the type of finishing. Usually what type of finishing is recommended for reflow under ROsH condition?

Hi Davef, I'm suspecting that too! The recipe we are using is the optimum for good soldering results. I'm checking with our supplier on the type of pcb material. Do you know the recommended material for pcb undergoing reflow, under ROsH condition?

Hi Davef, After reflow, the pcb board turns yellowish color. However, the board still pass thru' functional test.

Does anyone familiar with COB process? I hv a PCBA product with one of the photodiode (size 26mmx1mm) which needs to be bonded directly on the pcb using COB technology. The wires that need to be bonded are 2, goldwires for about 100microAmp current.

I hv a PCB (mtrl is RF35). After going thru' reflow, we found yellowish stain on the solder pad (solder mask). It looks like burn-marks. The reflow temp use is 245oC. We tried running bare pcb under 220oC, there's minimum stain found (acceptable),how
