Isn't it funny how solder manufacturers are adopting a spec. limit of "not to exceed 1000ppm of lead content". Doesn't leave much room for the rest of the "process".

I have one of these too and � have manuals about jot conveyour but my conveyour has a pot for adjust the speed � can send conveyour's electrical schmatic to you as a jpeg format

Can anyone recomend tools for cleaning & adjusting of a lead free solder pot? I know it's not recomended to use the standard stainless tools. I was told by an FSE to use wood (kitchen) tools. Thanks

We think it will make little difference to your customer. It really depends on your customer's end-use environment though. Tough to guess. In a short time, both of pots will be "SAC" though.

....how does the part perform in a wetting test. Is it solderable on a bench or dip-plating in a pot? If you add flux and heat can you fix your problem assemblies? If yes, plating finish or substrate is not your problem. What flux are you using?

Joseph, What is the topside temp reading of your board before reaching the pot? Do you have top-heater in your wave machine? It sounds like; you got an insufficient per-heating issue.
