Hello all, Would you please tell me what is the approximate price for AOI machine? At least for the most popular AOI's. Do you think each production needs AOI? Is it really decreasing the failures a lot? Thank you in advance.

AOI does nothing to decrease the failures. It only helps to spot them. Fix your problems and you won't need an AOI.

Thanks for your answers. What I am thinking is after reflow AOI doesn't make sense. May be it is helpful only before that - show you the problems , may be repair station or something like that. What do you think about that?

I think she means, "whats the real price". Good luck finding out. You should be able to get a "discount" of 40% or more from what they would have charged you if you did not know better.
