Screen Printing for BGA

We just plant BGA in the paste when we place them with a standard flex machine. You know, just set your placement force to get the balls into the paste. Justin is correct about collapse.

This is why it is so important to print out a copy of the machine's initial data and tape it inside the front cover. You lose memory and it's right there.

Does anyone have this machine? Is it as good as the Ultra Print 3000? The head on this machine looks very similar to DEK's head, does it work the same way?

The UP3000 & UP3050 are the same machine. The "3050" denotes an options set. The current model is an UltraFlex 3000, which replaced the UltraPrint 3000 series.

That will depend on so many factors: solder type / flux type sphericity of balls in paste stencil type (laser chem etch, electro form etc.) print paramaters I will tell you that it can be done.
