We just plant BGA in the paste when we place them with a standard flex machine. You know, just set your placement force to get the balls into the paste. Justin is correct about collapse.

This is why it is so important to print out a copy of the machine's initial data and tape it inside the front cover. You lose memory and it's right there.

Yes, You are right. Unfortunately we have only one machine and I did not print out these data. I would like ask you if it is no problem for you can you send me these data? Thank you for your support. CALVERA.

Does anyone have this machine? Is it as good as the Ultra Print 3000? The head on this machine looks very similar to DEK's head, does it work the same way?

Can anyone tell me where I can order mylar sheets from. I need .040 thick opaque material. This would be used for printing paste and/or smt adhesive.

Search the archives, plug in 0402 OR aspect ratio and you will find everything you need to know about area and aspect ratio. These are the critical formulas for paste release. Russ

The UP3000 & UP3050 are the same machine. The "3050" denotes an options set. The current model is an UltraFlex 3000, which replaced the UltraPrint 3000 series.

With totally stable screen print (solder paste), placement and reflow processes, what is a world class target first time yield for good pcbs? How bad is 65% FTY. Your views would be welcome.

Yep, did that for many years in the 80's and early 90's. I wonder if their are suppliers that still do the emuslions? Anyone?

That will depend on so many factors: solder type / flux type sphericity of balls in paste stencil type (laser chem etch, electro form etc.) print paramaters I will tell you that it can be done.
