Are you sure the BGA is not Leadfree and the proces you are using is a leaded process? If so then the Balls will not reflow and there will be cracking. Likewise the other way around

hi, i'd like to know how do you maintain cleaness of your solder frames after production - we use both SnPb and leadfree process, we clean in alcohol and ultrasonic but the frames look white and i wonder if we do not damage the structure??? best re

I must improve rinsing for sure (no filtering of the water) but also a question - where do You buy/produce frames/carriers for both SnPb and LF wave processes we have just one supplier in France, we tried local ones but they lacked in precision...

Perhaps his processing time is very lengthy which could cause issues with leaving water sol residues on the circuit so long. Thats my reason anyways...

we had same problems with heavy loaded boards (40 x 10 leg transformer each side) we placed 2 glue dots (Fuji GL)under trafo and played with profile bottom side (thermateh lcv4 - 6 zones, SnPb process) that did the trick
