VIT 5K is the best. zero falls calls and effective for pre reflow process. Programming is very easy ( VI pro, edge, blob etc ) 4cm per fov.

I have been in the process of setting up a Quad 2C that lost its mod codes myself. Have you cleaned the glass encoder strips for X and Y? I was getting alot of motor errors until I cleaned them and I believe it was the error 4. Hope this helps.

Are you stuck with pin transfer for some reason? Screen printing is more repeatable and easier to maintain.

I've got specialized tooling I'm building for SMT processing. It requires a 0.125" thick sheet of high temp. silicon rubber cut to shape. Does anyone know of someone who can cut silicon sheets to a specific pattern/design?
