AOI recommendations

I would like to receive a few recommendations from users through experience for post reflow AOI equipment. Anyone with specific information regarding Mfg., programming time, cost, etc., please post your your recommedation. Thanks.

MVT? When you feel your program is complete run a bare board through the system and please post the results of the inspection.

The best offline software I have come in contact with is CircuitCam. Go online at www.aiscorp.com or send an email to jspera@aiscorp.com You can use cad, a scanned image, D256 data or gerber files. Check them out.

Quad optimizer

We have some Quad (QSA-30) machines, and i get better results when i optimize a program manually of the one that when i utilize the optimizer of the machine. Somebody knows a better software, than i stop using a manually optimizer. Sory me English. �

You are definately not alone. Fujicam doesn't optimize very well at all and modfication of both feeder allocation and insert order is required to increase throughput. Out of curiosity, what version are you running?

I understand your frustration. However, I contacted The Fuji Software support at 847.821.2401 and talk to one of their system engineers and they helped me out. It turned out that I was not aware of particular fields that effect the optimization.

I agree with lucky that there are fields to watch wich will improve optimization but still to get maximum throughput you may have to manipulate a little. One thing that might help is to be sure that "consider part height" is not selected, this will e
