Thanks for the offer. However, I do not have access to the gerbers as I am only a low level personnel running the SMT line. I'll probably try and win approval for the purchase of a MOLE or datalogger and go from there. Thanks all.

I need to purchase a rework tool mainly for QFP's including 30mm x 30mm. I was looking at a Metcal QX2 and a Pace TF200. I would welcome any comments on these two products or any other suggestions. Also, is a preheater necessary?

I would also have to suggest that you do not purchase a Datapaq unit. The company I currently work for has one and it is a pain to use when compared to the MOLE. I feel the software is not as user friendly as the MOLE.

I have purchased bellows from Garland. They seem every bit as good as original equipment at a lower price. I am going to try nozzles from them next. http://www.gscusa.net/ Bob

Good morning all, I was wondering if there is a solderability spec or something our purchasing department can order the parts to? Id like to be getting in the best (cleanest, tinned) parts possible to rule out any problems with that before I start at
