Hello, it is similar to the normal ones. You just have to collect 2 thermo profiles for each side and decide in the middle, so all your component heat requirements are met. Sometime it is very hard if the panel has a big variation in components.

Looking for some welcome advise again folks. We are currently using a reflow profiling software package which requires passing a data logging unit through the oven attached via thermocouples to a populated 'dummy' PCB. The problem is we have a very

You're correct. There is no way you can aquous clean under a low stand-off part like a LGA. Your approach seems reasonable, given your constraints. [As long as your customer is paying, what the hey!!! Give 'em what they want.] Consider joining t

a disturbed solder joint. * Extended/slow cool down ramps can result in surface texture => grainy solder joint. Second, the "BGA scaling" could be a reflection of: * Too little heat (incomplete solidification) OR * Too much heat (excess grain growt

From reading back through the post, it looks like you still need to establish whether the parts are actually being damaged, or just not soldered properly. If you're worried about heat damage get the manufacturers recommended reflow profile and che

Hi Mr. Necdet Ozyonum, Recently we did have same kind of problems when we use lead free reflow profile for leaded solder paste (AIM WS-483). There where solder resist lacks, we found white residue after aqueous cleaning. Not in the solder joints but
