what are the methods used out there to verify reflow oven performance or machine profiling. What intervals are good practice and is it necessary. We do product pofiles with our profiling equipment and can that be used to base your machine performance

Try this: * Run the board through your reflow oven set for a "normal" recipe, but with the cooling section turned off. * Pick the BGA from the board while the solder is still liquid using tweezers [or similar tool].

I need some advice on how to run a test with some large boards through the re-flow oven. The boards are 17"x17", 3/16" thick. Withought destroying one of the boards, how would I go about getting a good temperature profile?
