Does anybody know of a manufacturer of board stiffeners to put on the edges of PCBs when there going through the oven? I have seen some that C-clamp on the edges which I would prefer but don't have any info on them.. Thanx, Todd

We use the epoxy gold finger gloves. They are cheap and can be cut to length. We get them from; Stevens Products, Inc 973-672-2140

I have heard that the profiles are pretty much the same but I have a visible solder joint difference... might half to start looking at the plating, might be something with that?

I would suggest to have a rework station to rework only a single component we are having a genrad rework station to do these things

I actually have Kyzen's Aquanox 4520 in there now. Trace Melton at your place is working on the problem for me also. I have sent him detailed pictures showing the problem. I will post any solution we come up with for the benifit of other smtnet'ers.

No clean and RMA, both R0L0. Is it true that RMA type pastes are easier to clean than no-clean?

Id also like to know how this is possible. I am skeptical and would venture to say that it only looks clean but actually is not. Hopefully I am wrong and tests show there is actually no residue so we can save lots of $$$ here. Thanks

I know it is not easy to quantify zero. The biggest dilemma the no-residue technology is facing "disbelieve" The most accurate proof to the fact that all solids disapear under heat is TGA analysis. Test the no-residue in your facility under the rig

Patrick, can't you just post the data? I noticed it wasn't readily available on the web site. Russ
