I am looking for any input on the linear stick feeder from Mydata. We currently use a vibe feeder and have a high number of miss picks/rejects on SO8 packages. Is the linear stick feeder worth the investment to upgrade from vibe?

During initial profiling we shoot for 15% or less voiding on our BGAs. During production runs we consider voids under 15% to be ok. Voiding between 15%-25% we string tag and pay more attention to during test. Over 25% we consider a reject.

We have been receiving LEDs in these type of bags. The HIC says they are good. But we don't want to find out that there is a problem, at test or by customer returns. Does anyone reject them at receiving as not properly packaged when the parts are

PCB finishing is immersion white tin. The brownish is at random location at PCB pad. The issue only affect visual reject but no solderbility functional failure.

We are using LOCTITE 3606 HAVING torque 70 kgf.cm , but the comp fallen off in wave ...Rejection is 1 to 2 %. Plz help

we have a static problem with 0603 led when removing the plastic retainer from the tape and reel. same problem with the feeder causing reject and bad placement. is there someone having the same problem? and how to fix it. thank you
