Try AMTECH 4300. Although a No Clean, it can be cleaned with only hot DI Water. A saponifer will help but the residues are easy to remove. RELO classification.

When using nitrogen during reflow with a water washable RELO paste, we see a residue left on the solder joints that is not present when nitrogen is off. It is enough that we must wash the boards prior to AOI. Does anyone experience this?

Yes, using nitrogen can inhibit flux activation or evaporation, leaving more residue. This is common with water washable RELO pastes. Pre-wash before AOI is often needed in such cases.

Please accept my apologies for being offtopic. I have tried posting on the career center, and our job even appeared at the top of the most recent smtnet email newsletter. Still, we received essentially zero response. I'm hoping maybe a post here mi
