Component pad design and volume requirements

Electronics Forum | Tue Feb 15 14:35:41 EST 2000 | Balas

hi I am designing a test vehicle with a range of components on it(pbga, cbga,fc, mbga, and qfps). My concern is that I would like to use a single stencil for solder deposition and not a stepped stencil. That would require me to have aperture design a

We're looking at redesigning our stencils to facilitate better (well, it's pretty much non-existant, so any improvement is a big leap) release from fine pitch apertures. Currently we have perpendicular walled laser cut apertures. We'll be having

Hi, I would get a second hand MYDATA, and that should do the trick. Lots of feeders available, and easy to program. Good for small volume, but not high volume.

$100K for this entire line. We are thinking of getting a Chinese made reflow oven that looks pretty good at $25K. Also, we need to deposit solder using a dispenser as stencil printing will be reserved only for higher volume boards. It will not be pra

Where are you located? If in US, support for DIMA equipment is through Manncorp. Not a source I would put my money on.

Hi Basem, What's your budget? You may be able to get a decent second user machine and a bundle of feeders for the same price as a new one of those (Mydata, assmeblion, I-Pulse, Samsung etc) and not have to change it in a year or two.. Cheers, Rob.

The machines will be located in Damascus, Syria and so we can't/don't want to acquire any U.S. assembled machinery for several different reasons. As far as I know, My Data is U.S. made? Correct? Please let me know. Our support for DIMA will be thro

Grant-Thanks for letting me know that MyData is made in non-U.S. made machine. Cal-Thanks, I will be sending you an email to your email account you have provided. I have contact MIMOT already, however, they are VERY expensive machines and it will no
