motor control algorithm for pick & place machines

Electronics Forum | Mon Mar 08 17:34:10 EST 2004 | pdeuel

Differant machines have differant types of control. smoe use pulse motors with encoders and are controlled by PMD pulse motor drivers. Most of these will have parameters to determine things such as fast over shoot, speed for certian tools and varati

celldude, I have a couple more questions for you. Where can one look into getting these machines necessary for SSD? Also, knowing that the machines are expensive..Does your company find they are saving money (in the long run) by using SSD? More spec

Mydata Agilis Feeders

Electronics Forum | Sun Mar 05 14:08:33 EST 2006 | grantp

Hi, Your right, and the MYDATA's are much easer to setup, and a lot of it's got to do with them knowing which way a part is oriented, and it makes it a lot easer to know by looking at each part if it's rotated correctly. The Fujis don't do that, and

SMT component mis-aligned

Start by verifying the component definition, the thickness is critical. HSP 4796 uses nozzle 81 for 0402's. Make sure is using the right nozzle. If you need to, use the autoteach function to physically teach the dimensions of it, thickness included.

I completely agree with the both of you, and mgmt. has decided to go that way. Cost, I pleaded, is negligible when compared to the addtl. work/headache of working with an additional adapter. Let me drag this further off-topic if I might...I've read

UP1500 Frame Sizes?

I would not recommend trying to cram or mix and match multiple images on a stencil. Especially if you are a contract house, and your clients don't understand why sending one board seperate from a panel of four is a pain in the face. However, I have h

Rheometric Pump - Yes or No???

Electronics Forum | Thu Jun 23 13:50:07 EDT 2005 | Erik

Paul, I'm quite frankly relieved, I thought I was the only one with these thoughts! We have only had our Rheometric pumps since February, but since then our process has been difficult to control with fine pitch applications. And then there's always
