Tried suggested solution in manual to no avail. Reseated every connector we could get to. Has anyone run into this error, and found a solution? This error does not allow me to ignore this head and use the other two. Thanks Fern

Yes. All amps were properly programmed and tested with another Samsung machine. In addition head #1 Z-axis motor was also swapped out. Simon

I think the Samsung SM320 is quite good machine..But I suggest that must assembly feeder cover to the feeder trolleys, because without that the tape feeders are not safe for the heads. Feeders should broke the head. chip components wrong light sett

We have a Samsung that we have replaced all the amps and are still getting the Z axis motor alarm failure. On the “Position Window” before and after we try to “Home” the machine, the values for “Z-Axis” for all three heads prior to the “Home” action

So what your telling me is kind of vague. Does the machine home and go to the front left corner of the machine? If it does....this could be a quad align problem....meaning dirt on the lens or so-forth. You should watch the heads homing in the z-axi

Rob, Thanks for the feedback,we've been running Mydata since 95' and within those 10 years I think we might have seen enough from them. Granted our machine is still in tip top shape we just plan to get something a little more faster and cheaper. Myda
