We just got these, and they seem to work great for screen printing. I know many people use them for printing, but has anyone tried them for other processes such as placement?

For placement tooling holes should get you close. For screen printing pads are fine. Just turn off the post print alignment if doing 2D or 3D.

Hi Davef, Could you elaborate more on faster separation speed is better of paste release. Any DOE have you performed before to prove that. My current paste printing practice is to make separation speed slow. Please advise.. rgds

The short answer is yes, but you will be screen not stencil printing. Your printer may have print modes to support print/flood and flood/print modes. You should contact your printer manufacturer and a screen manufacturer to discuss this application.

Had cheacked the archives but I didn't see much about their comparison: 1. Throughput 2. Rework Rate 3. Effect on Placement Accuracy 4. Cost (cheaper or more expensive in the long term?) Has anyone compared the above. Please help me.
