A thorough analysis is in order because laser point-to-point soldering lacks the flexibility of the bottom sided miniwave systems. My experience showed that heating profiles could be grossly affected by color temperature and thermal mass. This can be

Does anyone know how to make a thermo profile on selective machine with one solder nozzle? The problem is that there are many points and lines with different break time and different speed. Thank you

Has anyone used a thermal profiler on a select solder program? We would like to know which brand anyone has had good results with. Thanks

It looks like the 330 Convection & the GF120 ovens would really stuggle to do lead free, with 3 zones (the 330 has 3 top, 1 bottom). Can't comment on the 545 oven, you'll have to get them to run profiles with a selection of your boards & check on

Have anyone experience with temp.profile for selective soldering?Could you give me more information about that? Thank you!

for backward compatibility applications (such as this), the higher melting temperature alloy (LF alloy) gets the priority in selecting the reflow profile. you are using too low temps for reflow. your LF alloy wont reflow at these temp and you will e

Hi All, We have purchased an Ersa Versaflow selective solder machine, and I am looking in to profiling upon the machine. We currently have a process for profiling our wave with a WaveRider system, this we use to gauge that the machine is set up cor

Hi, I agree, we have a KIC and have run hundreds of profiles and are still running the original battery and have never had a problem. The software is what matters with profilers I think, and the KIC has really good software that shows you a process

What kind of problems/defects/process indicators are you having? It is likely that you will have to bite the bullet and get a thermal profiling mole to prove that your selected profiles are subjecting parts to the correct tempertures per part specs.
