You can easily get 99.8% for 0603 and 99.6% for 0402 out from a Panasonic MV2F, and these machines have no adaptive pick-up. To get 99.8% from HS-50 for 0603 or 0402 should be piece of cake. Anyway, is getting 99.8% pick-up = 6 sigma process?

I was wondering if anyone could tell me why only heads 6 and 8 are placing parts incorrectly? It does not matter which nozzles I use; it will randomly place them off. Right now, I have both heads disabled. I am not sure what to start checking.

I'm planning to design the pcb of my project. The controller used is having 136 pins and the package is P-LFBGA. So i think i need to design a 6 layer board for better performance. I haven't designed a multi layer board before. So what are things tak

Have you ran the hydra head calibration on all 8 heads? If you did but still having similar issue, then you might have a slightly bent hydra tool(s).

this document http://www.latticesemi.com/view_document?document_id=671 may be good start point but note that how to escape from the BGA is not big deal, how to route your filtering capcitors, grounding, impedance control lof you high speed signals ar

Hi, i have a confusion to read the dimension of BGA package from the datasheet. I have attached the datasheet below. Is this diameter of the ball 0.30mm or 0.15mm. I'm confused about the values given in the box. Whats meant by M, S, A and B. Please g

Yes I can give you the answer. The Hydra head is a machanical/electrical unreliable turd. I had these at my previous job and saw minimally 4 Hydra heads get replaced under warranty. I wont even go into the "Midas" head or the linescan cameras or th

Hi Dave, I think 6 sigma is here to stay. Unlike any other programs like ISO, six sigma goes to the peoples mind. With drastic examples like you would not fly a plane which reaches its destination in a three sigma probability you start to think

I am surprise that you get 99.5% pick-up rate out from the HS-50, unless you are refering to 0201 chip size. I can easily get 99.8% for 0603 and 99.6% for 0402 out from a Panasonic MV2F, and these machines have no adaptive pick-up. To get 99.8% from
