We too had a problem with the WS609. We have since switched to Alpha's WS619 (same formula with an anti-foaming agent) This really helped but we still monitor flux application and try to minimize wherever possible. Chris

If you have another container of flux that is a different batch try that. Dont forget to clear lines of old flux. check spray pattern width. The activators needed may be dead in flux.Since it is sudden my question would be what just changed?

Erhard, I am not sure what you mean. I believe bulk case placement only refers to C's & R's. Even then placing only 0603 and 0805. I assume you are talking about larger parts since you mention trays???

Do yourself a favor and hire someone who's been there done that. If your not familiar with the equipment or the operation of SFMT the industry can be overwhelming. Since the cost of installing a line can be expensive, there's no room for error.
