Hello, all.these days I met many skewed transistors after reflow soldering.we 've tried many ways attemting solving it thoroughly...changing the aperture pattern, solder volume and even changing the size of pcb pad,but the results are not very good.eve

"glue the floater in place with chip bonder before reflow" gets my vote. We have decals for DPAKs and TO-252's that don't match either specification, and chip bonder is the only answer if they won't spin the board for you.

I think it will make some progess if you modify the program and let the component shift towards the lead orientation as possible while P&P.

We have had some components that popped off in our IR oven. It was attributed to the solder paste. The humidity was above 60% the temp was about 70 degrees.

I definately agree about OEM's skewing the data on such a proposed site. I was a service engineer for an OEM for 13 years and I know from experience; the marketing guys rake through these forums daily looking for any oportunity to promote the brand.

When the pads on the board are too large, the component tends to swim. This skewing can be a BIG problem with connectors, eh?

The calibration was ok. When i switch off the back camera and use front one everything is ok. Is it true that when Topaz use back line camera after checking the components the machine rotates the components 180 degree?. Mark \

Hi! Try to make "R_AXIS_ACCURACY" calibration for all of FNC heads for back camera only. I met such problem on Topaz-X. There was clearly seen offset on 0.8mm pitch components. I simply calibrated all cameras for FNC nozzles and problem disappeared.
