Surface Mount Solder Balling

We are getting solder balls after reflow of surface mount components. We are using a no-clean paste and a new jar seemed to help for a little bit. Any ideas? Thanks in advance

is it all right to reflow a BGA using a rework station but without applying a layer of solder paste on pcb. the diameter of the solder ball is 0.75 and the pitch is 1.5mm.

what process is that? can kindly describe? is it that technology where bricks of solder are "ready made" deposit onto PCB pads thus eliminating the need to solder paste print/dispense by machine?

Our requirement is 2 hours after printing before the board needs to go through the oven. Course we're in the humid south where on those 95%+ RH days we do get solder balling.

Hi, No clean mean is no need to clean. Of couse if you usin incompatibility solvent to clean, the white residue will appear. If cleaning is needed, source the suitable solvent and this always suggested by your solder paste supplier. regards
