That's your clue. Your reflow is running ~240*C and your soldering iron is running ~370*C. Dial-up the heat.

We're using a Pillarhouse for all of our Pb free. JADE I believe is the model. Good little machine, pretty easy to program and maintain.

Are you talking 0.02" (1.225mm) if so then no it's not a great idea. if you must wave it can you go to a PLCC and through hole socket it on the other side of the board?

We have used it and it seems to be fine. I think we have probably run a few thousand boards with it across maybe 6 different assemblies.
