I believe we are running most jobs at around 140°F on the wash cycle (which seems to be average from what I hear). We did find one job that we were running very hot at 160° F (at customers request) that could be an issue.

Anyone experience high voiding levels in SMT lead free solder joints when the CHIP has bright tin plated end caps ? In the same process, Matte tin plated CHIPs don't show any voiding issues.

Do Proper underneath stencil cleaning. if the cleaning not effective, check Vaccuum section of the printer machine. Else change the Wipe roll. Trying out with other cleaning solvent (dedicated to stencil cleaner) also improve this issues.

The leads on the FPC are pre-tinned on both sides with SAC305. The receiving leads are AU. We do not experience any wetting issues that would suggest oxidation.

I can help with this. Is your machine running MACH software or SWAK? If you want to email me, you can. I am 90% sure I know what the issue is.

I see now that you sent me 4 emails. They got kicked to SPAM, so sorry about that. I'm glad you figured out the z-height. If you have another issues, let me know. I know these machines pretty well.
