Dek ProFlow Head

We are currnetly looking at switching form squeegee's to the Dek ProFlow head system. Just looking for feedback on the performance compared to squeegee's. Also here the ProFlow reduces the amount of waste of solder paste. Can anyone reflect on these

Steve: Two things: 1 Chrys "The Thermo Princess" Shea wrote a great thread on attaching thermocouples that's in the SMTnet archives 2 Dymax (and probably others) makes a uV cureable thermal adhesive that's not a ugly to use as soldering thermal coup

Are you running high volume. If yes then what you propose may be relevant. If however you run low volume - lots of changeovers then your wastage/transfer will be equal if not greater than the amount put on the boards. Enclosed systems like DEK Proflo

Alvaro, I have a reefer case just like you described. I bought it at a going out of business sale at a floral shop. They kept flowers in it. Runs on 120VAC to.

Pascal: Two elementary cautines are: 1 Don't dump the board before the reflowed solder is cooled. 2 Try to manage the side to side temperature variations in your oven. I wouldn't be surprised to see 5�C variation. Good luck
