In my opinion, fault lies in printing or reflow. With printing - it's either too much solder paste or bad print, though I would assume that would be caught. With reflow, it could be that ramp up rate is too high.

Do you have any images that show the soldered terminations? Also images of the pcb terminations after the part has moved might be helpful.

If the case shield is solderable, add pads to the edge of the two through holes and paste . This wetting should hold it in place.

It seems to me that it would be easier to manually apply a little bit of chipbonder on the edge of the part after the first reflow than to tape the part down. The epoxy would cure sufficiently before the second reflow to secure the part after the s

I know they aren't cheap, but used properly, mine last quite a few months, and they work so well, that I am still in favour of them. Tips range in price, but our work buys in bulk, saving some money.

JBC is a great station (no doubt) - I've had the opportunity to use both. I suppose it depends on who is flipping the bill. Performance wise, the QUICK TS Series is nearly identical to the JBC Station and consumables are a fraction of the cost. Ch
