Dear SMT Manufacturer, As moisture is eliminated as the cause then solder paste volume will probably be the main contributing factor. More paste means more chance of solder balls and more flux fumes that need to be evaporated to reduce voiding. Even

Has anyone out there experienced selective soldering of a shield that is galvanized rather than tin plated? Our supplier is worried about tin wiskers with the bright tin finish. Soldering with SAC305 and a pretty weak no-clean flux. Sorry, I don't k

Only the manufacturer of this part can tell you if subjecting the entire assembly through reflow temps is okay. It is not a good assumption that "if a part can be hand soldered it can withstand reflow" there are many connectors/headers/buzzers/etc

Band width relates to conveyor speed to achive a 2 second contact time for Sn/Pb wave soldering. A typical conveyor speed is 150cm/min with a band width (contact band width between PCB and solder) of 5cm. Now for Pb-Free wave soldering a longer conta

I'd like to ask a question. Have you determined where all those solder balls are coming from? I even see them on top of U40 and U15. This seems like a dumb question to me considering the size of the part (and having seen pictures of only one boa
