We are processing a 5x22" PCB using Juki "2010E and 2060E". Machines are spec'd as 18x20" cabable. We just needed to adjust a conveyor sensor (1 time) and ignore a few placement area warnings.

Hi PeteB Do you know PeteC? Anyway, it all depends on your most sensitive part. Look up the spec sheets to determine. Most general parts can take 3 or 4 heat cycles easily.

I don't know of any standards that apply to hardware at the component level. I would think, though, that unless the spec. sheet for the component specifies cracks there shouldn't be any.

Agreed, ours looks a little yellow at times and purple at others. All element levels are well within specs. Joints are perfect, this is good stuff....

Are you using nitrogen with your wave? You probably will need to with selective. With our Ersa we need 99.9% pure nitrogen to make it acceptable. They spec 99.999% which means liquid nitrogen. We tried one board without nitrogen, it left a two in

I was looking through a solderability spec and ran across the term Nordau (Terminal finish - 90Sn/10Pb, Nordau, Matte Sn). I've never heard of this finish before, what is it?

Hi Mika: It would be great to know the specs required for the transformer as I have a trasformer manufacturer here able to do it. I saw that the machine uses 3 phase without Neutral (230V each)30 amps. These 30 Amps are total or each phase? Regards
