Hi Mika, Why not just splice into the existing 2 pin connector on the beginning or end of the CP conveyors? See attached picture...

Save yourself a headache and splice it in. Make sure you follow the "setting" instructions that come with the new amp.

You have to make sure the tape is covering the holes on the tape/carrier, this is where the sensor reads it.
