Alan, Fuji also has a standard motor feeder FMB-44 that should handle this component (believe the depth is right at 17mm for the feeder). This is the motorized feeder, not the old mechanical ones that they use to sell. D.

Hello, Voids in BGA can not be eliminated. You can only minimize them by reducing the solder paste volume. Try to bake the plastic BGA's and PCB both as per the standard. Check the PCB at the BGA locations if the via's are masked.Masked via's result

Does anyone know there a standard matrix of clearances part to part for Class 2 and Class 3 board design. IPC does issue a preferred matrix but they are so liberal they not so useful in the real world. Any suggestions would really be appreciated.

I have never heard of using a corner of a trace before. How interesting. However, the Universal GSM only gives me the standard shapes of fiducials. (round, square, diamond, cross etc.) Thank you for replying. M.L. Feather

Thanks Dave! I'll see if I can find the standard on IPC's website or inhouse (our company) if I am lucky. I appreciate it. What type of flux are you guys using? No clean? or Water-soluble?

I got one sitting in my room that is not being used. It meets SMEMA standards and is from Conveyor Technologies Model# REF-CC-1M-1-BR. If you are interested, I can put you in contact with someone who can talk with you...

Is there a indutry standard on SMT datecode? My last company's guideline was two years but I don't remember seeing any specific studies. Thanks.

I hear ya Ray, but I have standard (automatic) solder dispenser that are 700gram modules. Jars have other issues that I have migrated away from... I like your idea of slaving the paste bar code label to the board scanner....

I can't imagine a board to be 2" thick. Am I misunderstanding here? The thickest board I work with is 0.09" thick. That translates to 2.28mm. Did someone say that there is a standard to follow with regards to components near board edges or V-grooves?

I have plenty of these trays if you still need them. Both divided and standard. 920-564-2700 x10
