Under Stencil Cleaner

I would like to find out what is one of the most common cleaning solvents used in screen printers. By this, I mean which solvent is used in the solvent tanks to clean under stencil in DEK & MPM's etc. Please, no sales guys, only real users. Cheers,

Acually, Dr. Shocker, DaveF is correct. The high power spray can bend the metal between the aperatures on fine pitch parts. I'm sure it's not common, but I have seen this happen. I have not, however, stood on any stencils. Sounds like fun.

Yes I do know what stencils are. We have many here and use them for glue and paste. You can stand on them, trust me.

You might want to look at a hand held ultrasonic stencil cleaner such as this one from Gen3 http://www.gen3systems.com/viewprod-GENSONIC.php *note i do not work for gen3 but they are a rep for other products my company produces

Do Proper underneath stencil cleaning. if the cleaning not effective, check Vaccuum section of the printer machine. Else change the Wipe roll. Trying out with other cleaning solvent (dedicated to stencil cleaner) also improve this issues.

You are correct in your assessment that no-clean pastes are difficult to clean. I understand why you would need to clean lots of stencils, but why would you need to clean "high volumes" of PCB's? If you are planning on cleaning high volumes of PCB'
