The E5s I had just needed the fids to be burned black. Never needed epoxy, although we did have one stencil that we had to touch up with a sharpie now and then because they didn't burn it dark enough (too hot...?).

Probably because you are using baords, as you quoted above. "Your DEK could read non-blackened fids? Wow, you must have bought them from Superman. Or did you just teach baord pads and stencil openings?" In my DEKs, we use the new fangled "Boards"

The biggest problem with double printing is that if the squeegee pressure and speed are correct, the stencil apertures are already filled with paste. Printing again can force paste between the bottom of the stencil and the top of the board creating

We reball hundreds of BGAs a week with the RB-2000 kit from Mini Micro Stencil, Inc. The reball stencils are made of stainless steel and can be used over and over again. We have reballed .5mm pitch parts with .012" balls up to 2400 ball BGAs.

Hi Chris, So you run eror free for 2 years, then change stencil aps and get problems. Why would you go smaller? Try using your old stencil with your no-lead.
