GSM2 and FlexJet heads

Electronics Forum | Tue Mar 16 06:13:58 EDT 2010 | dilogic

Can you tell me how to distinguish between them? I recently bought a second GSM2. With it I've got two FlexJet heads (dismounted). The serial number of both heads starts with FJ7P, so I assume they are of FJ7 type? The issue is - it seems that the he

With TestJet technology, if we want to test a 64 pin BGA, would we need probe access to each net of the device to get full coverage? If not, would I only get coverage to the pins that have probe access? In a nut shell, How exactly does it work?

Temp Profile of E7501 and P64H2

Dear All, I'm encountering a problem on mounting Intel E7501 and P64H2 FC-BGA chips. After the SMT process, these two BGAs were defected. Both had power-to-ground short circuits on the die package itself, and also the die resin had cracking tracks

We've noticed that there are many different recommendations for pad sizes for various SMT parts. This seems to vary wildly from manufacturer to manufacturer for the same case sizes. Is there any standards that can used used to specify these sizes

Pick and place machine for small productions. Any suggestions?

Hi all! after hours of manual hand soldering and after spending thousands of euros subcontracting PCB assembly, we have decided to buy a fully automated pick&place machine. Our main assembly requirements are 0805/0603 for passives and TQFP-64

Need used pick and place for low volume, high mix - suggestions?

Electronics Forum | Tue Apr 27 23:10:16 EDT 2010 | mbrunton

I am looking at buying a pick and place machine to assemble the circuit boards we make. Most of the boards are small (2 to 10 square inches), most are 2 sided, and have maybe 20-50 parts per side. I use mostly 0805/0603 chips, SOT-23, SOD-123, SOIC
