Hello TA Please go to the "search" box immediately to the left of the screen, click "companies" for Search Section and enter EMC in the Search Terms. You'll go right to it.

The white residue can be caused by putting Alcohol on the no clean product. Some people will attempt to clean an area they have reworked.

George and the others make good points. Check Les Hymes response to a similar question in 7/00 "Circuits Assembly"

We are currently having a lot of problems in Circuit testing many of our product due to the use of our no clean flux. We don't clean our board in any way. How is the industry dealing with this problem? Or are we unique?

You are not unique. We too are using "no-clean" flux but yet we still have to use flux off to clean the boards before our test bays. I know of no solution to this yet but I am actively seeking one.

Hi, Can anybody help me regarding "how to rework bottomside chips with adhesive without any damage on the PCB's?". What are the necessary tools we need. Thanks

We have just been using a pair of hot tweezers from either pace or ersa. We are in the process of switching to the metcal brand. they seem to be the best out there.

Yes, Metcals do work. The parts come off and clean-up very nicely with a hot tip. Nothing really special needed.
