If you can, get some samples and just let them run through your oven a couple of times, they dont need to be mounted, just place them on top of some FR4, you'll find out soon enough if the plastic will hold.

Hi Dougs, Check out the PBTs (Peak Body temperatures)and time at these temperatures. Remember that they sit higher in the ovens than most other parts. If you have problems getting that data I should have it for Tyco, JAE, Hirose, Harting & a coupl

Hi Rob, I've decided at the moment to put them all over the wave, i'll keep looking into getting alternatives that are designed to be suitable and later on will hopefully switch some parts over. many thanks again Dougs

No relationship? Brokeback Engineering? :) I would've looked at his site, but it hurts my eyes. It's almost as if he uses that loud color on purpose, despite past criticisms.
