The CP-65E handles a wide range of board sizes, including large boards up to 508 x 457 mm or 20 x 18 inches. Handling consumer as well as industrial applications, this durable and highly efficient machine achieves a cycle time of 0.12 seconds/shot an

Well, reflow certainly would increase your preheat, wouldnt it? On the other hand, some PTH [and SMT] components cannot bear the heat of a reflow oven. Some boards will never see proper barrel fill, because of either: * Design of the board. * Sl

You didnt tell us about your solder, wave temperature profile, or the distribution of the problem. So, lets assume the solder is near eutectic and the problem is wide spread. Wolfgang makes good points. So, let's talk a different tact. When we

Thank you all very much for the responses. The solder is eutectic and the problem, as far as I can tell, has been around before I was here, 2+ years. The flow machine is a treiber with 2 bottom preheaters and 1 top. The solder pot temp is 500F +/-4F

for regular eutecticish solders, keep the pot temperature between 230C [446F] and 290C [554F]. If you polled us on our pot temperatures, wed be all over the map, but with more lower than higher than you. High pot temperatures tend to generate

Well Greg, I dont know YOUR 0805 Pads but if you look at the recommended pattern for 0805 in IPC-SM-782 you might notice that the Z-dimension is somewhat about the size of your 1206 part length. With that and assuming that you ask if the results wi

Dave F, thank you for your reply and the references you included. You asked why I'm trying to understand this info, here's an answer: I'm working on an NSF-funded materials-related project, one aspect of which may lead to some advances in the forma

I have recently been asked to look into some problems that we are having at wave. It is common for us to have unsoldered joints for boards that have SMT parts epoxied to the bottom side. Recently we have had a problem with a gold plated board. The wa

Hey, you can only carry that No savings no bonus!!! thing so far. * There is negative saving when the machine isnt running. * I know I have to trim my finger nails, but that doesnt mean I wait until I hurt myself scratching my nose or on the othe
