I've never worked with a MPM printer but I had something similar happen on a DEK printer. The problem was that screens were manually centered in the machine and the operators were not careful enough when setting it up so the settings were very close

Both questions will depend upon the IC specifications. Check the manufacturers recommendations for temperature specification, as well as reflow profiling. As a general rule, we don't like to rework a component more than 2 times after initial reflow

Thanks davef. Your comments are well taken. How about the trays transporting boards from one station to another or staging at WIP Kanban? It��s easy enough to segregate rework stations and tools. Trays are used thru out the plant without segregation
