Not so sure takt time is an appropriate for measure to assess a single process, like a reflow oven. Look here: http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navclient&ie=UTF-8&rls=GGLC,GGLC:1969-53,GGLC:en&q=takt+time+formula+

Is there a limit to the time that most components can stay at temperatures around 130-200 deg c? if i slow the time, the first 4 zones will be at this temp for about 5 minutes in no lead process. i am concerned that some chips wont be rated at this t

Thanks Everyone I have attempted to take an average for the all the components but this but theres such a range of times I don't think this is accurate enough maybe I should try for the different types of sizes of components. As for the cycle time I

You also need to get with the PCB manufacturer. Their is a lot that can go wrong with that many layers. If the manufacture is trapping that much moisture. you may have a hard time baking it out. Dave and Graham are right about the time and energy. It
