We have a board we run screwed to a fixture. There is no warping that way. If you go for reheating the BGA's make sure there is no time for the BGA's to absorb moisture.

This is from 1995/96 time frame. I believe they sold their business to Philips and now Assembleon. Good luck! Comtra Systems, Inc. 2585 North Fairview Ave. Roseville, MN 55113 612-633-4084 800-936-6286

Does anyone have experience with electrically conductive adhesives? We're looking to try one (don't know whose), but I'm concerned with degradation of the adhesive over time or thermal cycling. Any success or horror stories would be appreciated.

The DPMO is a far better measure - first pass yield doesn't give you any indication on quality or effectiveness of test step. If you want 100% first pass yield, test nothing - works every time - you see where I am coming from..........

Had exactly the same problem the other week. Baked some boards did improve slightly but not convincingly. Washed bare PCb and found excessive HASL fluids left on board from improper rinsing and problem disapeared. Baking HASL fluid out is impossible
