How do you manage your Tools for production?

Electronics Forum | Tue Sep 09 08:49:57 EDT 2014 | rgduval

Jorge, If the tooling in question is specific to certain jobs, we'd suggest carrying that tooling on the BOM for that job. Simply assign an internal part number, and assign that part to the BOM. You'll likely have to engrave the p/n or label the t

Is NO CLEAN any better for High Speed PCB's?

Electronics Forum | Tue Dec 02 06:07:00 EST 2014 | sarason

A trick I used to use doing RF design was to have on the edge of a panel, a stripline that I could hook up to a Network Analyser to check board impedance. You could do this to verify if the fault is in the no wash process or a board manufacture proce

Reflow soldering problems and traces under component

Electronics Forum | Tue Jul 19 08:26:46 EDT 2016 | pavel_murtishev

Aleksander, The answer is no. Solder deposit being printed is 80um-150um in height depending on PCB design what is two times higher than any track covered by solder mask. Molten solder will merely center the component. QFNs are prone to soldering

Tracking labor at selective solder

Electronics Forum | Thu Dec 21 15:35:21 EST 2017 | emeto

For me it looks like a scheduling issue. You can do time studies on your assemblies and predict the best workload, based on scheduling the jobs in the right sequence. Also it sounds like you have only one operator. Train more people to operate will h
