Mark, We have an IP3 that I can videotape for you when we get all the components in for our next job (probably around 3/21/07). The only thing that will be missing is the tray feeder operation, as this job does not use any components from a tray.

Thanks for the explanation but we dont have a need for a JEDEC tray or matrix tray feeder. My volume is half million pieces a year so we are on the small side of the spectrum.

It is less reliable, no longer is in production, and requires off-line programming. If you can afford a PTIF, buy it.

The strip tape tray feeder is not practical if you have a lot of different strips. What about using splicing? Take some empty tape and splice it on to the front of your strips?
