Grant, try TEKA solder-bearing connectors. They have a "brick" of solder that reflows during reflow. They work great! Jason Gregory

Yes, we did try: built a lot of 200 PCBs with Sn62Ag2 solder paste (we have been using Sn63) and it helped, but not eliminated the problem.

The vast majority of issues I have seen are from depaneling with a PCB seperator. Try placing a row of tightly spaced unplated holes adjacent to the edge that the crack parts are being found out (assuming they are within .5" or so of the score line)

does anyone have any experience with the Scorpion Tech flying probe units? I have been trying to educate myself on what is available in Flying Probe technology and I had not heard of these before. thanks greg
