Can anyone give me a manufacturer name for a good quality illuminated SMT inspection magnifier. We use 3 diopter. I have tried many many different brands. They all seem to fall apart.

Microwave? Try some steel wool next time. Are you cookin food in that microwave? I would love to see that documented into a process. You could look at changing the solder paste you use. Knead it up other than that mate.

Hi, It was funny. The sight of 3 men standing around the microwave daring each other to push the start button, and then freaking out when the whole thing looked as though it was going to explode was funny. I guess you have to try these things! Tho

Try slowing the cam speed to 50% or so to start with. Also make sure that you are using the largest nozzle you can on that particular part.

Solder balls - Pb wave soldering

Hello! My problem are solder balls in normal (with Pb) wave soldering proces. Balls appears between connector pads. I tried to change fluxes and preheating in machine (and combinations of both). What else can I do? I have no wide experience in solder
