Try this. Basic reflow profile build up and explanation of its parts: ramp-up, soak or no soak, peak, cooling. Good starting point.

If the connectors can withstand reflow temperatures you might consider solder preforms. I have personally never tried them. I beleive that you can get them in any configuration desired. Indium and Alpha are some suppliers that I am aware of.

Hi Where can I find some information for laying out a product which uses a PCI Bracket. Things I'm trying to find out is should the inside of the bracket be flush with the edge of the pcb or should there ber a Gap ? if there is a gap, what that gap

10x16 by 5 mil stencil gives me a area ratio of .615 unless I am calculating incorrectly. I will try and attach some images tomorrow. By reducing the Y direction my area ratio s below .6 and I thought this was not advisable. Your help is muc appreci

If you're having trouble with a specific board, double check your Pattern, Diameter, Color and Scan Area under the 'Mark Data' tab. You can also try setting the Pitch Tolerance to '0' in the machine configuration. Good Luck, Bill
