Yes i was looking around that site this morning and found everything i needed. Thanks to all. Basically what im trying to do is justify the expenditure of a new NO2 generator for our IC cabinets. Ours died a little while back and we have been using

Long Soak Times for BGA soldering?

Electronics Forum | Fri Jul 02 08:06:28 EDT 2004 | davef

Never heard of this either. We'd be concerned about your flux loosing effectiveness over such a long soak and that would result in poor solder connections on all components on your board. Just what is the problem with your BGA that you are trying t

Securing components for wave soldering

Electronics Forum | Thu Jul 15 07:08:29 EDT 2004 | pcbrown

Basically, it's a tilting problem of certain devices. Usually with axial by-pass caps tilting, which pulls the lead up through it's mounting hole. Other problems with components with leads cut to lenght to eliminate post-wave trimming. All suggestion

Try spraying flux on top of the loaded PWB when you put it on the conveyor. The tackiness of the flux does a pretty fair job of keeping the axial leaded parts down to the board. This takes more cleaning, but it has worked wonders for me on assemblies

Air Bath Rework System

You are welcome. I typically just read here and try not to post, but the other post was unfairly negative and seemed to be biased to a single supplier...which I always find suspect. Here are the links to APE and ZEPHYRTRONICS which I hope you find h

Warming up solder paste at start of days production

Electronics Forum | Mon Jul 26 19:26:06 EDT 2004 | Grant

Hi, Yes, it was quite funny, and everyone thought I was nuts, but it was something worth trying. It's often the weirdest ideas that work. The full tube was ok, but the half full one generated the plasma. That scared the hell out of us when it lit up

Royonics Bulbs

Electronics Forum | Mon Dec 20 12:10:39 EST 2004 | Bob Atkinson

You can get the bulbs already mounted in the holder from RoyonicUSA (www.royonicusa.com). They are $79.00, part number 212. If you try to buy a bulb and align it in the holder, you probably won't be successful as the bulbs are factory mounted and a
