I guess I would atribute it to either board stretch/warpage or someone messed up, whether it be the gerbers aren't quite right or the stencil wasn't cut exaclty as the checkplot was laid out.

Hey, I'd try it. Well maybe not me personally, but one of the peeps, one with some touch and skill. Buying, setting-up and using a hot bar soldering machine is not rocket science, but who needs it, if you don't have to?

I would think that wave solder beneath a BGA component might be a little bit stressful. The board will be expanding much faster than the BGA on the topside. This will cause some stress to the solder joints that might show up as the failure you are

I'm with you on microcracking. The best way to confirm this is through sectioning of the affected capacitors. You're fortunate to be seeing these failures showing-up early in your product life. Of times these failures don't appear for years.

Presumably, I would think not, if they are strapped up. The charge in their hair should dissipate. If not, you could make the same argument for one's clothing, couldn't you?

Heller 1500W running on Windows 95. Warms up fine but the belt speed will not adjust. Running very fast and will not slow down when adjusted. Anyone ever seen this?

MPAG3 is capable to detect bend pin in up and down form... but i advice to read both machine specs and compare base on your production need for a wise and best machine selection.

Ok, Think I have got it now. After finding the last letter is a batch code or something, I found "The SMD Code Book" and it looks like it is MMSZ4703-V-GS08. I'll wait to see what the components turn up looking like.
