Electronics Forum | Tue Feb 11 09:26:57 EST 2020 | astarotf

Hi everyone I have problems welding QFN components in a 10-zone reflux oven, we cannot make a welding fillet that covers the entire QFN pin. Currently we use paste T4 - 63Sn / 37Pb. I enclose the curve of the oven profile. Any help or support on this

Organic Fiber Plugs Flooding with Selective Soldering

We are having issues with solder flooding some through hole pin receptacles which have an organic fiber plug on the soldering end. Anyone else use these types of receptacles and soldering with selective solder. Appears the plugs may be not sealed w

Stereo binocular Scope vs LCD Camera Scope

Electronics Forum | Fri Feb 21 07:51:23 EST 2020 | griinder

I'm looking to gather some opinions. The C.M. I work for has always used the 3D Stereo Binocular Microscopes. There is a big push towards LCD Camera scopes, that is meeting a lot of resistance from the Solderers and QA. What is the consensus out ther

I have not used many camera/display scopes (have seen a few demos) but I've never seen one that gave me the same quality image as a binocular scope. I even take pics with my phone through the lens and they don't come out half bad, even after cropping

Does anyone else have issues of certain cover tape that gets stuck in and around the feeders? I have been fighting these 2 tapes all day. I try to tape them to the pocket tape with a twist, but it only works so long. It happens Either because its s
