I like the possibilities. Couple thoughts; all good equipment is solid, don't try and design a machine around modular aluminum extrusions, they're junk. At the very least use a heavy steel table with a 1/2" base and 4" square legs, they can be bou

We are using VP on all of our lead free assemblies. 1. We are getting great, very repeatable results. 2. The profiles were created during the implementation of the equipment and we only change 3 parameters for each assembly processed. Heater power,

I use a XP242 and like the machine but it does have limitations on vision system. I am unsure if those same limitations apply for the XP243. If you need a good reference of a tech on these machines call IBE, SMT Equipment and ask for Jim Bozak. When

We have used an Asymtek C-740 for about three years now and its never had an issue even once. We spray Humiseal acrylic so I cant help you too much with the silicone but the machine itself is great. Opt in for the little process control extras lik

Does anyone have ballpark figures readily available for how much conformal coating machines cost? Benchtop and In-line? New and Used? I am really curious and considering purchasing, but don't want to go stir up a hornets net of salesman at this po

sipad does work we used it on one assy it had a very fine pitch part on it and at that time our dek 260 wasn't up to the task along with our 8 mil stencils. we had no problems with it it was sticky enough to hold the parts on thur all smt machines.

I am working on some capacity issues and I have been reading some of the other treads, but I am still struggling with the idea of machine downtime. We have a lot of older equipment that does not consistantly run from day to day. How do I factor that
